POST 4 CULTURAL SHOCK

In our career, we don’t have a particular definition of Cultural Shock, but I could tell for sure that that’s a thing that we all know about, or that we should know about.

I think we all should know about, because, has educators, we should know that immigration is a reality in our country, and that it is very possible for us to find a kid from a totally different culture, who is just arriving in to our country and our classroom. So we should know how to deal with the cultural shock that he/she is probably going to experience. Imagine going to a class were you don’t even understand what’s saying the teacher, it could be very stressful.

Fortunately, I can’t think in a situation where a have feel in that way, cause my travels has always been very near (and not for so much long time) so I’ve always feel very comfortable, with my friends and family, and in countries with nice people. Also, I enjoy a lot meeting new cultures, so I always look around and study a little before going to someplace, so I have never feel in shock when I meet a new place, new people or new culture.
Good night my friends! See you later.
